Pastor Aaron Richert

Pastor Richert was raised in Big Bear. After graduating high school, he joined the US Army, serving in Alaska and Iraq. While in Alaska, he met his wife, Karrie, and they together, received their call to return to California to serve the people of Big Bear and the regions beyond for the sake of Jesus Christ. After attending West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, CA, he returned to Big Bear in 2006 to serve as the assistant pastor of Evergreen Baptist Church. In 2009, he was voted in unanimously as the senior pastor.

Karrie Richert

Karrie grew up in North Pole, Alaska, and Bible Baptist Church of Fairbanks, Alaska, under the leadership of Pastor Doug Duffett. As a teenager, she felt called to be a preacher's wife. There at Bible Baptist Church, she met Aaron Richert, and they were married in 2003. Shortly after that, they surrendered to God's call into the ministry. They have two children, Sadie and Jaiden.

Karrie currently serves as the church secretary, in ladies' ministries, and children's ministries.
