 Mapuche People of Argentina and Chile

In the last year, the Klein family has arrived in Argentina, and begun language training in Spanish and Mapu-dugun, to reach the Mapuche People of Argentina and Chile. From the city of Nequen, they will be a day's drive from 41 Mapuche communities, giving them great opportunities to reach these people with the Gospel of Christ.

After the languages are learned, they will move to the city of Alumine in the Andes Mountains. They will be working with Rodney and Cheri Frey to lead the Mapuche People to Christ, baptize them, and teach them the Scriptures.

The goal of the Klein’s is to plant churches throughout Argentina and Chile's Mapuche communities. These churches one day will be pastored and supported by the Mapuche People.
