Suggestions to Help You Grow in Your Faith

1. Make a public profession of your faith.

"Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 10:32)

2. Be baptized and join a Bible-believing church.

"Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: And the same day there was added unto them about three thousand souls." (Acts 2:41)

3. Read your Bible daily.  (If you do not have one, please let us know.)

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119:105)

4. Pray everyday.

"The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:16)

5. Attend a Bible-believing church.

"I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord." (Psalm 122:1)

6. Share your experience with others.

"Go home and tell thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee." (Mark 5:19)

7. Start giving to God's work.

"Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.  For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." (Luke 6:38)

8. Even though you are a Christian, you will sin.  But when you do, confess (acknowledge) it, and keep living for Him.

"He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." (Proverbs 28:13)

"My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous" (1 John 2:1)
